Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in Tirana and this Monday took part in the signing of a joint project between Albanians and Americans.
This project is an important step towards fulfilling the vision Albania 2030 net energy exporter. This project will bring gas supply through the New Terminal that will be set up in Vlora.
“It is a significant moment for one of the strategic projects that has to do with the gasification of Albania, the project of the Vlora power plant. “The step that we took with skepticism today is turning into one of the most important projects in the region. “That small market that made us very skeptical by expanding with the Open Balkans initiative is now seen as a market of 17 million Albanians who can turn to services directly.”added Balluku.
