Yuri Kim welcomed the President’s decree, as he wrote that he welcomes the ongoing cooperation between the institutions for the implementation of justice reform.
‘We welcome the continued co-operation between the institutions in implementing justice reform, including the appointment of the 10th judge to the Supreme Court today. “This increases the functionality of the Supreme Court, it also enables the Supreme Court to appoint a judge for the Constitutional Court,” the diplomat wrote on Twitter.
Today, President Meta has decreed the appointment of Arbena Ahmeti as the youngest judge of the Supreme Court.
With this new appointment, the Supreme Court, from today becomes with 10 (ten) judges, out of 19 members that it should have.
‘Arbena Ahmeti will be the youngest member of the Supreme Court, which has been selected to be appointed to this Court through the procedures of promotion from the ranks of the judiciary, it is said in the announcement of the Presidency.’ – wrote the Presidency.
