The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, today held a meeting with the Greece-Albania Friendship Group in the Hellenic Parliament headed by Vassilios Giogiakas.
In his speech, Balla emphasized the mutual recognition of pensions.
“The issue of mutual recognition of pensions takes on a special importance for the entire Albanian community that lives and has a great contribution in Greece, but also for the Greek minority of Albania.
After the meeting I had in March 2022 with the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Kostis Hatzidakis, the bilateral meetings continued in the direction of reaching an agreement on the mutual recognition of pensions between our two countries”, said Balla.
Balla also emphasized once again the good relations between the two countries as well as the commitment between the two parliaments to intensify cooperation at the level of parliamentary groups.
