Albania is getting ready for the Mediterranean Games to be held in Oran, Algeria from June 24 to July 7.
The Albanian Olympic team that will participate there will be composed of 29 athletes and not from all Olympic sports federations, also due to the annual budgets which were distributed too late by the Ministry of Sports.
Athletes who have the opportunity to achieve results and receive medals will participate. On Friday, all athletes participating in these games have signed a contract with the Olympic Committee, officially launching their commitment to these games.
Meanwhile, on Sunday morning, the country’s prime minister will hand over the flag to the flag bearers, a female and a male athlete, of these Mediterranean Games before leaving for Algeria.
