PSG still under investigation for financial balance sheets. The signing of the agreement with Kylian Mbappe did not go unnoticed by the UEFA financial control body for the clubs.
PSG had a loss of 224.3 million euros in the 2020/21 season, but it seems that such figures are not a problem for the leaders of the capital club that managed to convince the star of the French national team to stay in Paris.
This is not the first time that PSG is subject to investigation as in 2014 he admitted the violations he had committed and was fined 60 million euros, precisely because of non-compliance with the rules of financial fair play. Even in 2018 there was an investigation several months, but not the first a decision.
The reason for the investigation is Kylian Mbappe and the cause has become La Liga, which has complained to PSG and Manchester City that they are not showing equality in the race for player transfers. Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga has explained that it was impossible to renew the contract from PSG with Kylian Mbappe with the losses they have suffered in recent seasons, but in the end there was a new agreement.
It remains to be seen whether at the end of this investigation there will be sanctions for PSG that if proven then would be a repeated violation and the Parisians would not pass so easily./ Super Sport
