In this meeting, Mayor Sako was accompanied by the political leader of the region Adrian Çela and the deputy of the area and at the same time Minister of State for service standards Milva Ekonomi who said that Mayor Sako has been with the residents during this time to solve their problems. “I want to tell you only one thing: there has been the constant insistence of the mayor to the government to receive the bonus for flood compensation and the solution of other problems.”
420 residents of the administrative unit Katund i Ri have received a reconstruction grant, while 40 families already have new houses. Another 243 families have benefited from the Erzen River flood bonus. The Municipality of Durrës allocates every year 200 million ALL for investments in this administrative unit, in which it is worth mentioning that most of it has a 24 hour water supply. Two new schools have been built in this unit and one is in process, several roads have been reconstructed, 22 kilometers of drainage canals have been cleaned, while other investments will be made.
