A massacre with three Albanians killed and injured eyes happened the evening of the previous night in Athens
After a fight with parallel cars, an Albanian killed his compatriot. Then the incident escalated with a chase by the police, where two of them and a citizen were injured. In the end, the Albanian aggressor himself was killed by the police, according to Protothema.
The event started in Kato Patisia in Athens, at 21.30 at the intersection of “Georgiou Nazou” and “Krotidou” streets, the drivers of the two vehicles, which were moving parallel, had a verbal conflict. One of the drivers got out of the vehicle and opened fire on the other driver, seriously injuring him. The passenger of the vehicle, trying to get out of the vehicle and transport his friend to the hospital, was hit by another vehicle, leaving him injured. The two injured were taken by ambulance.
The perpetrator of the crime abandoned the vehicle and, with a gun in hand, stopped another vehicle on the road, and with the threat of the weapon, pulled out the driver and took the car while leaving. With the stolen vehicle, he headed to Agious Anargirous, attempting to rob a gas station at gunpoint. There he abandoned the stolen vehicle and tried to leave on foot. He saw the police car and remembered that it was a taxi. But when he tried to stop him, he saw that they were police officers and opened fire on them, injuring them. The latter returned fire, killing the Albanian.
The two police officers were slightly wounded, from the shots they received, one in the leg (his colleagues who quickly went to the scene put a tunic on to stop the bleeding) and the other in a bulletproof vest at shoulder level. Both were transported by EKAV ambulances to military hospital 401.
An investigative group is working to fully elucidate the circumstances of the serious event.
