Three victims were recorded in a fight between two gangs on Saturday evening in Athens, which the Greek police say are Albanian citizens.
According to police sources, everything started in the “Kato Patisia” neighborhood of Athens, when people who were traveling in a “Mercedes” type vehicle with Albanian license plates, fought with the driver of a motorcycle who was seriously injured, but during he died in the hospital in the early hours of the morning.
The father of the motorcycle driver was found on the spot, who followed the “Mercedes” with an “Audi” type vehicle and shot him with a gun, leaving him dead on the spot.
Another person who was in the “Mercedes” tried to run away, but was hit by a vehicle that happened to be passing on the road and was injured, while another person who was in the same car was able to get out of the car and under a Toyota car was robbed at gunpoint.
Arriving at the scene, the police started looking for the “Toyota” and found it outside a bar in the “Ajos Anargjiros” neighborhood.
The police called on him to surrender, but the young man opened fire, injuring two policemen. The author was also killed in the armed conflict.
Sources say that the three victims of the incident are Albanians, but the police have not yet given their names.
Investigations show that the armed group was attacked in “Kato Patisia” by rivals, at the moment it was preparing to attack the bar in the “Ajo Anargjirus” neighborhood.
So far, a woman has been arrested. It was located in the “Mercedes” of one of the perpetrators, while four others are still being sought. There are also three wounded in the hospital, two policemen and an Albanian citizen who was hit by a car while trying to leave. According to information, gangs involved in drug trafficking were involved in the fight.
The police are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
