Three poultry farms have been closed in Durrës as a result of the mass death of chickens in them.
Within a few days, over 500,000 chickens have died in three of the largest poultry farms on the market.
Preliminarily, it is suspected to be laryngotracheitis, an infectious disease with rapid spread. However, the results of the analysis are expected to determine exactly the cause of this mass extermination.
Dead birds have begun to be buried and diseased ones to be exterminated.
Meanwhile, officially AKU and the Directorate of Agriculture have not issued any statement regarding the situation and its consequences to the population.
