Shkodër / Mass checks throughout the territory, with the aim of preventing, identifying and cracking down on criminal activities in the field of cultivation of narcotic plants.
The anti-cannabis police operation codenamed “Vallas” is finalized.
The operation, by the Shkodra Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the sections for Investigation of Crimes against Narcotics and Illegal Trafficking, in DVP Shkodra, under the direction of the Shkodra Prosecutor’s Office.
6 citizens are arrested and 8 others are declared wanted, accomplices in the criminal activities of cultivation, production and sale of narcotics.
246 kilograms of suspected cannabis were found and seized in the apartment of one of the detainees.
Also, suspected narcotic cannabis plants, cultivated near this apartment, in the village of Vallas, Shkodra, as well as suspected narcotic cannabis plants, are being found and destroyed by burning, by the Police services, in the process of drying.
Following the massive controls throughout the territory, with the aim of preventing, identifying and cracking down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, within a few days investigation, under the direction of the Prosecution at the Shkodra Judicial District Court, and thanks to a well-organized work of all police structures of DVP Shkodra, Shkodra Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the sections for Investigation of Crimes against Narcotics and Illegal Trafficking of this DVP, successfully organized and finalized the anti-cannabis police operation codenamed “Vallas”.
As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested:
-AT, 28 years old, resident in the village of Oblikë, Shkodër;
-BR, 26 years old, resident in the village of Oblikë, Shkodër;
-HM, 51 years old, resident in Vallas, Shkodra;
-L. Ç., 34 years old, resident in Milot, Lezha;
-AU 48 years old, resident in Velinaj, Shkodra, as well
-DH 42 years old, resident in Tirana. This citizen was arrested within a few hours from the organization of the police operation “Vallas”, as a result of well-coordinated cooperation with the structures of DVP Tirana.
The following citizens were also declared wanted:
-AS, 34 years old resident in Bajza, Malësi e Madhe;
-AP, 38 years old, resident in Shiroka, Shkodra;
-SB, 35 years old, resident in the neighborhood “Ahmet Haxhija”, Shkodra;
-BL, 21 years old resident in Alimetaj, Shkodra
-ES 20 years old resident in Shiroka, Shkodra, as well
-ID, 26 years old, resident in Vallas, Shkodra;
-SD, 34 years old, resident in Vallas, Shkodra;
-AD, 29 years old, resident in Vallas, Shkodra (relatives of each other).
From the investigative actions directed by the Prosecution at the Shkodra Judicial District Court, it results that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, carried out in the village of Vallas, Shkodra, the illegal activity of cultivating narcotic plants.
As a result of the search of the apartment of the arrested citizen AT, the Police services found and seized as material evidence, 246 kilograms of suspected cannabis, a vehicle and 11 mobile phones, which were allegedly used by the perpetrators to develop this criminal activity.
Also, following the detailed control of every part of the territory, in the village of Vallas, Shkodër, were suspected and destroyed by burning, by the Police services, suspected narcotic cannabis plants, cultivated near the apartment of arrested citizens AT
Intensive work continues by the Police structures, in order to arrest the citizens declared wanted for this criminal activity.
The materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Shkodra Court of First Instance, for further action, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Cultivation of narcotic plants”, committed in collaboration.
