Prime Minister Edi Rama was the first to wish the holiday of “March 7” to all teachers on this day marked for them.
“Good morning and with congratulations to all teachers on their marked day, I wish you all a good week,” wrote Rama.
He has selected a congratulatory video from various teachers, to show and emphasize the values, importance and important mission of the teacher figure.
One of the teachers said that teachers are a symbol of humanism and enlightenment of the mind.
Some other congratulations of the teachers in the video were: “This congratulation goes to the teachers who have turned the beautiful teaching profession into a mission”; “This profession is beautiful and full of challenges, if you choose it you must be a good student all your life”; “Congratulations go to all teachers inside and outside Albania.”
Like today 134 years ago in the city of Korça, the First Albanian School was opened, an event of great importance in the efforts of the Albanian people to create their own national school.
