Today, the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, approved the request of 11 political forces, which submitted to the Central Election Commission on Monday the request to join the March 6 electoral race.
In addition to the Socialist Party, the Democratic Party, the Socialist Movement for Integration, the PDK in Nard Ndoka, there are 7 other parties, mainly without electoral weight, that have sought to register in the by-elections.
The New Movement, the New Democratic Spirit, the Christian Democratic Party, the Democratic Reform Party of Albania, the Democratic Union, the Legality Movement and the National Front are the small political forces that seek to be part of the race.
While tomorrow is the deadline to submit applications for registration of coalitions. Yesterday, the SMI requested the registration in coalition with PDK of Nard Ndoka and the Re-establishment Commission of Sali Berisha, a request which is expected to be rejected by the CEC as Berisha is not registered in court as a political force and moreover is not one of the 11 registered parties at the CEC to face the by-elections on March 6 in the municipalities of Shkodra, Dibra, Durres, Vora, Rrogozhina and Lushnja.
