Tirana Traffic Police has increased the measures to increase road safety parameters at the weekend.
Due to the large influx of vehicles circulating in the direction of the capital, every day of the week and especially on weekends, as well as due to incorrect parking of drivers, which become an obstacle to free movement of vehicles and create obstacles to the flow of movement, the Tirana Traffic Police has reorganized the services in various forms, in order to identify and punish violators.
During the last 48 hours:
9 drivers were arrested, who were caught driving while intoxicated or without a driving license;
34 34 drivers were administratively prosecuted for speeding in residential centers and speed racing;
Administrativ 25 drivers of sports vehicles were administratively prosecuted for disturbing noises from the way they drive;
71 71 drivers were administratively prosecuted for darkening the windshield;
7 147 drivers were administratively prosecuted for using the mobile device while driving;
44 44 drivers were administratively prosecuted with the suspension of their driving license, for speeding above the allowed norms;
23 23 drivers were administratively prosecuted for driving under the influence of alcohol;
78 78 drivers were administratively prosecuted for wrong overtaking;
45 456 different vehicles were processed for stay and rest in violation of road signs and traffic rules;
15 15 vehicles with registration plates of other states were escorted for verification, on behalf of other police structures.
