The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Region of Fier, Taulant Balla, during a meeting with the residents of Karbunara in the framework of the local by-elections of March 6, said that the Municipality of Lushnja will be led by a girl from Lushnja like Eriselda Sefa and that the coalition of The SP is with the citizens and with no one else.
“On behalf of Edi Rama and the Socialist Party, which has found great support here in you, I take this opportunity to thank you for the support you gave in the April 25 elections. As in any election I am happy that the victory of the Socialist Party starts in Karbunare and this is related to the good work that has been done here, but bigger work awaits us ahead.
What is needed in Lushnja is to give our vote of confidence to Eriselda, so we do not employ the opposing candidates and we do not deal with them because they are not in Lushnje, but we deal with those who put them. Those who put them have no eyes to appear before Lushnja, neither Saliu, nor Iliri nor Luli can appear before the people of Lushnja.
We need Eriselda and Edi Rama to work together, a mayor has nothing to do without the prime minister neither for Karbunara nor for Lushnja because the projects are approved by the government.
We have started with some important projects since the beginning of the year in the city of Lushnja but which will be extended to the Administrative Units where thanks to the projects prepared by Eriselda and with their consent by Edi Rama work has begun for their implementation, some are in the process and some more will be launched soon. For me, of all these, quality is important and there will be no public work to lead in terms of quality.
We our opponent here in Karbunare have our self-satisfaction and our arrogance if we think we have won this battle. But no, we have to knock on every door, the administrator, the deputies but also the mayor herself as there are many doors waiting for us that we have to knock on, to apologize for what we have not managed to do or for what we may not have “They were done properly, because we also made mistakes”, said Balla.
According to Balla, a mayor should do what Eriselda has done in these seven months, to wait for anyone who knocks on the door.
“We have only 30 days for parties and after these 30 days we should all be brothers and sisters, so this is my principle that we should have in Lushnja.
We must unite Lushnja in function of the great works that await us. The production that comes from the fields of Lushnja are not with any political party but are the product of the golden hands of this area, who do not expect the state to work the field, but the state to help them with the price of chemical fertilizers, the quality of seeds, excise-free oil, drinking water supply, energy prices as well as by roads to transport their products.
“Saliu is in a coalition with Ilir, Luli does not even know who he is with while we are in a coalition with the people, so thank you for your presence”, declared Balla.
In her speech, the candidate for Mayor, Eriselda Sefa thanked the participants for their evaluation.
“7 months ago, with the trust of the Prime Minister to lead the Municipality of Lushnje, together with my staff we started to identify the problems that the citizens of the Municipality of Lushnje had. My 16 years of experience made me know and touch more closely on your needs. I have worked on projects and ideas in order to apply to the Albanian government but also to foreign donors who have given me maximum support. We have worked in your unit but there is still a lot to do.
“With your vote of confidence, my responsibility will be even greater to serve you better”, said among others Sefa.
