At least 15 African migrants drowned when their boat capsized off the coast of Libya, said International Organization for Migration spokesman Safa Msehli.
This is the second shipwreck involving migrants en route to Europe in just over a week, Reuters reports.
Msehli said there were at least 110 migrants on the capsized rubber boat, which left the Libyan coastal city of Zavi on Friday.
“The ship started to sink early this morning and the Libyan Coast Guard managed to rescue at least 95 migrants, including six women and two children,” said Safa Msheli.
