Some lawyers in Tirana have broken the strike of the bar chamber, developing some of the security measures in the Court of Tirana.
Today, five security measures are foreseen to take place after 10:30, while in relation to the other hearings, a request for postponement has been submitted by the lawyers, in respect of the boycott.
About 2,000 lawyers, for several weeks now, have been boycotting the processes in the form of strikes to force the HJC to reflect on the new court map, for which in fact the HJC has already voted to close many courts. The Chamber of Advocates claims that “the HJC ignored and did not consider their proposals”.
