Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reacted to the accident that occurred at noon on Sunday, when Minister Rozeta Hajdari hit a minor child on the street.
Kurti says that there were no signs of braking on the road, thus justifying the minister that he was not at a higher speed than he should have been.
However he expressed regret for the accident in which the child was injured.
“I have no other information than the explanations that Hajdari said and I have to say that I trust him. She was in the car with her sister with a disability and from what I understood there are no signs on the braking asphalt, which means that there was no speeding too much. “The police have the case and the market cameras are there.”said Kurti.
The accident happened at noon on Sunday in the Arbëria neighborhood. The 9-year-old minor was sent for medical treatment and then released as the injuries were not serious.
The vehicle was driven by the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, and a police report assessed that it did not adapt the speed to the road conditions.
Minister Rozeta Hajdari’s reasoning about the accident was that while she was returning to her apartment in the Arbëria neighborhood, two children ran to cross the road and according to her, one of them collided with her car.
