The Government of Kosovo gave the green light to the technical agreement of the Ministry of Defense with the Government of Poland for the landing of the KSF in this country in the framework of the NATO operation “Atlantic Resolve”, which practically opens the way for the participation of Kosovo troops in NATO military operation there.

Since 2018, the KSF is in the process of transformation into an army, a process that is thought to last ten years. On March 1, the Kosovo government established the Security Fund, to which various citizens and donors can contribute. Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that this fund was set up based on the needs of the Kosovo Security Force, “the current situation and after consultations with international partners.”
