Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says Russia could suspend its military operations in Ukraine if the latter meets its conditions. He emphasizes that Russia does not insist on making further territorial claims to Ukraine.
According to him, one of these conditions is the fact that Ukraine should recognize Crimea as Russian and Donetsk and Luhansk as independent states.
Peskov added that Ukraine should change its constitution and reject claims to join any bloc, such as NATO or other blocs.
If these conditions are met, he said, Russian military action will stop at some point and Russia’s “demilitarization” of Russia will end.
