Kosovo has registered six victims and 1,283 new cases of coronavirus, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday.
New cases emerged after testing 6,696 samples. According to this figure, it turns out that 19.16 percent of those tested tested positive for COVID-19.
In the previous 24 hours, 4,397 patients were cured, said the Ministry of Health.
Currently, there are 26,977 active cases of coronavirus.
In terms of vaccination, 1,239 doses of coronavirus vaccine were administered in the previous 24 hours.
In Kosovo, currently 808,218 people have been immunized with two doses of the vaccine.
Citizens from the age of 12 can be immunized against the coronavirus, while people from the age of 18, who were immunized with two doses three months ago, can also receive the third or booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Two types of vaccines are used in Kosovo, AstraZeneca and Pfizer / BioNTech.
