The Kosovo Ministry of Health announced on January 2 that 38 new cases of coronavirus have been registered.
Within the last 24 hours, according to the announcement, no deaths were registered from COVID-19.
The number of new cases emerged after testing 3,711 samples.
According to the announcement, there are currently 540 active cases of coronavirus in Kosovo.
Regarding coronavirus vaccination, 330 doses of the vaccine were administered in the previous 24 hours.
In Kosovo, so far, 783,180 people have been immunized with two doses of the vaccine.
Recall that in Kosovo, all persons over 12 years of age have the right to vaccination and they can receive one of the two vaccines used in Kosovo: AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
Meanwhile, persons over 18 years of age, who were immunized with two doses three months ago, have the right to be vaccinated with the booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
