A total of 2,708 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Kosovo in the last 24 hours, according to the Kosovo Ministry of Health.
According to the MoH, 10,883 citizens were tested in the last 24 hours.
The MoH reports that in the last 24 hours a case of death from the coronavirus has been registered.
Based on data from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), 25 percent of cases tested were positive.
The day before, on January 19, health authorities in Kosovo registered 2,050 cases of infection.
According to the Ministry of Health in the last 24 hours a total of 4,731 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given.
There are currently 9,771 cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo.
On Thursday, January 20, 2022, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, requested an update of measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
