The Voting Service is continuing its work in the Counting and Results Center, which is evaluating about 43 thousand and 500 packages of ballots, which were received during the voting period by mail.
Through this process it will be possible to specify the number of ballots which have come from abroad.
According to the data provided by the CEC so far, 19 thousand 168 ballot packages have been opened, which have undergone the evaluation process, where as it is known, there may be more than one ballot envelope inside a package.
After the evaluation, 22 thousand 326 envelopes with ballots were approved, while 9 thousand 49 envelopes with ballots were rejected.
The CEC says the reasons for their rejection are different. Some of these packages are said to have been sent by persons who are not registered as voters outside Kosovo and some others because they were sent by persons who were rejected during the application period.
Also, in some cases the packages were said to have been sent by unidentified voters or otherwise known as “group voting”.
