The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has held an electronic meeting, the 60th in a row, in which it approved the decision on the commitment of the Government for energy subsidies.
At today’s meeting was approved the proposal of the Ministry of Economy for the commitment of the Government to subsidize the payment of energy by consumers.
According to the approved decision, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to energy subsidies in the amount of 90 million euros.
The decision aims to reduce the impact of energy tariffs on consumers. This decision was taken after the enormous rise in import prices, which has caused the electricity supply crisis in the country.
