The Kosovo Ministry of Health announced on December 25 that 16 new cases of coronavirus have been registered. The new cases resulted after testing 2,142 samples.
According to the report, no deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours.
In terms of vaccination, in the previous 24 hours the authorities administered 1,390 doses of coronavirus vaccines.
In total the number of active cases is 342.
From March, when the immunization campaign started until December 25, 780,024 citizens have been immunized in Kosovo with two doses of vaccine.
In Kosovo, all citizens from the age of 12 have the right to be vaccinated and can get the AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine.
Meanwhile, from the beginning of December, people over 18 years of age can also receive booster doses and third ones of the vaccine.
