Marina Ivashchenko an actress from Ukraine who is part of the Monodrama Festival tells the experiences and destruction of her homeland by the war.
The artist lives in Italy and everything that is happening is conveyed to her by her parents or friends who try to survive every day.
There is a similarity between the role of the artist in the play Anna’s Voices, a Russian journalist killed in Moscow and what is happening in real life which is exactly the war.
“We come to this festival with a very important show for Zërat e Ana, which talks about a Russian journalist who was killed and tells about her life. But more important is the message conveyed by the part, which is against the war and this topic is unfortunately current now in Ukraine. “I am originally from Ukraine and this is a great pain for me, so with this show we want to say that war is something terrible, that should not exist, that only brings pain and destruction.” said Marina Ivashchenko, actress from Ukraine.
Although she did not live the war up close, the artist who lives in Italy has experienced everything that happens through the stories of her family in Kharkiv.
