US Ambassador to Tirana Yuri Kim on Saturday called on Albanian officials to assure voters that they can express their will freely, without any pressure, vote-buying or other obstacles.
Kim made such a call through the social network “Instagram”, which stressed that internationals are monitoring the elections.
“US Embassy staff are monitoring the vote in all six municipalities. I have the pleasure to be in Durrës. It is especially wonderful to see so many young people active today, be they voters, election commissioners or observers. I hope that all citizens exercise their right to vote.
