He stabbed his wife, Valdete Mamaj, six times in the heart the day before in Fier.
At 07:30 he returned home and informed the brother that Valdetja had killed himself with a knife. Police forces immediately went to the scene, as Petrit was escorted by blue uniforms he denied the crime, but there were some scratches on his body that revealed the truth.

The victim’s two children have left Germany to accompany the mother to the last apartment. Meanwhile, the father, Petrit Manaj, was handcuffed to be taken to the prison where he will serve his sentence for the crime committed.
Asked by reporters, the neighbors say they have not had conflicts and were a good family. They said they did not see anything strange from the couple and that they lived a quiet life together with the children.
