An incident at work claimed the life of a 64-year-old pastrami worker in Manez.
The incident happened on Sunday afternoon near the Mek camp, where 64-year-old Shaban Ceni, employed in a private company, had gone to the area to clean the garbage bins. The automatic device mounted on the truck that shreds the garbage had broken down and the 64-year-old man was injured by the machine in his hand while trying to fix it. Despite the immediate transport to the hospital, after a few hours he died.
The Durrës police have referred the materials to the prosecutor’s office as an accidental event. The latter will deepen the investigations to shed more light on the incident that happened inside the MEK camp.
