Manchester United has honored a key member of its Kiev fan club, who was killed in the war in Ukraine.
Alexander Kukin was one of the founders of the Kiev Reds’s fan club 20 years ago.
The Kiev Red and Blacks said Kukin died after his car was shot down by Russian forces. His wife and daughter have undergone surgery and are in hospital.
Manchester United said they were saddened to hear the news and sought to support the family of the deceased.
