The Complaints and Sanctions Commission has rejected the request of the Democratic Party to dissolve the “House of Freedom” coalition, composed of the group for the re-establishment of the Democratic Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration.
At today’s meeting, KAS decided not to consider the request of the Democratic Party.
The DP sent a complaint to the Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) against this coalition, although Sali Berisha was expelled from the CEC as part of the ‘House of Freedom’ coalition, leaving only the SMI and PDK.
The DP puts forward 3 arguments, the submission of the coalition request by the SMI before registering as a party, its symbols were used without the approval of the leader of the Democrats and it remains unclear which party will nominate candidates for 6 municipalities in the March 6 elections.
