At the end of June, another road segment will be opened for the circulation of vehicles, the Shijan-Gajdar Bridge which is part of the Kardhiq Delvinë axis.
While closely following the works that are nearing completion, the Minister of Infrastructure Belinda Balluku said that this connecting road with a length of 5.5 kilometers has been fully rehabilitated and will be ready for the tourist season.
The Shijan-Gajdar Bridge segment connects Delvina with Saranda and with its commissioning is expected to significantly facilitate traffic. Meanwhile, at the beginning of July, the Skërficë tunnel, which is a continuation of the Kardhiq-Delvinë road axis, will be ready for the circulation of vehicles.
