In the April 3rd parliamentary elections in Serbia, Albanians ran on two separate lists.
Shaip Kamberi led the Coalition of United Albanians and Shqiprim Arifi Alternative. No one collected 13 thousand votes to get seats, because the participation of Albanians in these elections was low.
Through a reaction on Facebook, Kamberi says that he does not consider it a problem that Arifi does not wish him victory, but considers discrimination and social oppression in the Valley a problem.
“It is not a problem why the holder of the other List from the Valley does not wish the convincing victory of our List. Nor is he silent about his electoral debacle accusing Albania, Kosovo or me.
Finally, I did not even vote for the President of Serbia, who was boycotted by the absolute part of the Albanians. His case.
“But the problem remains that he does not see discrimination and state oppression as the main causes of the situation in the Valley, which now appeared in the undemocratic electoral process, through the passivation of settlements and the removal of Albanians from the voter lists.” writes Kamberi.
Even before, Kamberi demanded that the elections in the Presevo Valley be repeated as he claims that many citizens were denied the right to vote.
