The police operation codenamed “Weapons”, developed by DVP Dibër and the Dibër Police Commissariat, is finalized.
Arsenal of weapons, ammunition, TNT, detonating caps, and other illegal items are seized.
Father and son, possessors of weapons arsenal are handcuffed.
Pursuant to the plan of measures for the prevention of criminal events, the clarification of those that occurred before, the arrest of wanted persons or those who carry and circulate firearms, based on information received on the operational road that a citizen possessed a firearm in the apartment, the specialists of the Sector for Investigation of Crime in DVP, in cooperation with the services of the Police Commissariat of Dibër have organized the work and successfully finalized the police operation codenamed “Weapons”.
In the framework of this operation, a control was exercised in the apartment of the citizen DD, in the village of Shullan, where an arsenal of weapons was found and seized, namely:
Two Kalashnikov firearms, a rifle, a shotgun, tritol, 200 meters of incendiary fuse, 73 pieces of detonating caps, 715 rounds of ammunition, and 5 weapon combs.
At the end of the first investigative actions by the Specialists for the Investigation of Crime in the Commissariat of Dibër, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:
- D., 68 years old; and PD, 38 years old, (father and son), resident in the village of Shullan, Administrative Unit Kala e Dodës, Dibër.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Dibër Judicial District for the criminal offense “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition”, committed in collaboration.
