Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s former right-hand man-turned-enemy, has called on the Tories to remove him as prime minister today, rather than let him stay on as interim prime minister.
Cummings, who has repeatedly attacked Johnson since he was fired in November 2020, tweeted: “Banish him today, or he will wreak havoc“.

More ministers and former allies have withdrawn their support for the British prime minister and are calling on him to resign, but Johnson has resisted, saying he would fight on, at least for now, despite Tory MP Kris Pincher’s latest sex scandal involving Doëning Street is sinking him more and more.
Johnson now has only two options either to resign today, or his opponents will move every stone to oust him within the next week at the latest.
