The continuation of a series of unresolved events is suspected to be the failed assassination attempt on 31-year-old Marklen Haka, who was shot 17 times with a glock pistol while he was traveling in a golf cart as a passenger.
The incident happened at Nikla’s entrance around 2pm on Wednesday. As a result of the shooting, Haka was injured in the face.
The perpetrators had ambushed Haka, positioning himself on the side of the road to shoot him as soon as he returned to the village. The speedy departure as soon as the gun attack began allegedly saved the 31-year-old’s life.
After the first assassination attempt on Haka in September 2019, where he was wounded and his aunt passed away, an event that still has no author, in Nikël the balances were broken where suspicions fell on former friends.
Almost a year later in November 2020 in Tapiza another failed assassination took place where the target was Durim Bami, another name of the criminal world in this area. Bami was not injured in the shooting, but his cousin was injured in the hand. The incident was not uncovered by the police and among the suspects was Marklen Haka, a former friend of Bami.
Another track of investigation is revenge due to some serious criminal events where Haka is suspected as the perpetrator but that justice could not prove.
