Police have punished hundreds of citizens on the road axes of Vlora and Saranda, for violating road rules.
A motorcyclist has been arrested after attempting to bribe police officers, to avoid punishment.
40-year-old with the initials Th. K., a resident of the village of Dhivër in Finiq, was arrested driving a motorcycle without license plates and without a helmet. The perpetrator also attempted to corrupt Saranda Police officers.
Two people were arrested and three others were prosecuted at large after violating traffic rules.
13 driving licenses have been suspended, of which 5 for speeding and 8 for various violations of the Road Code.
A total of 916 administrative measures have been imposed, of which:
– 5 measures for speeding;
– 82 measures for not wearing a seat belt;
– 88 measures for not wearing a protective helmet;
– 10 measures for the use of mobile device while driving;
– 85 measures for wrong overtaking;
– 173 measures for stopping / stopping the vehicle in contradiction with the road signs and traffic rules;
– 6 measures for lack of vehicle insurance;
– 467 measures for violation of other rules of the Road Code.
