Instagram, and the entire Facebook group appear to be closing in on Russia from war sanctions in Ukraine.
So some models or as they are otherwise known “local” influencers are panicking not to lose their followers.
But dependence on the virtual world goes to even the most extreme dimensions as seen in one video of a Russian model with about 3 million followers, who tearfully explains to her followers the sadness of closing Instagram.
“If you think Instagram is just a source of profit, you are sorely mistaken. Instagram is my whole life, my whole soul. Here I wake up and fall asleep every day for five years now »
Russian model Tina Kandelaki spoke in the same vein, writing to her 3.2 million followers: “Instagram is living its last hours in Russia. I invite you to follow my profiles on other networks. Let’s stay together! ”
Kandelaki then listed other social networks: VK (VKontakte, Russian version of Facebook), Telegram and Yappy. The latter appears to be a social platform funded by Gazprom.
