In the last 24 hours, out of 937 tests, 427 citizens have tested positive for COVID19. 220 are in Tirana, 21 in Fier, 20 in Lushnje, 17 in Vlorë, 16 in Berat, 15 in Durrës, out of 12 citizens in Kavajë, Gjirokastër, 11 in Sarandë, 10 in Divjakë, 8 in Tepelën, from 7 citizens in Fushë Arrëz, Krujë, Dibër, from 6 citizens in Mirditë, Pogradec, from 4 citizens in Vorë, Poliçan, from 3 citizens in Kukës, Tropojë, Finiq, Gramsh , from 2 citizens in Has, Mallakastër, Delvinë, Përmet, from 1 citizen in Pukë, Lezhë, Selenica, Himare,
9,201 citizens are active with Covid19 throughout the country. Currently, 34 patients are receiving treatment at the COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours, an 84-year-old woman from Fieri lost her life.
789 citizens have recovered during the last 24 hours, bringing the number of recoveries to 284,013 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Due to the increase in the number of citizens affected by Covid19, the Ministry of Health again calls on citizens not to neglect the anticovid vaccination, especially in this period of increased contacts, due to movements during the summer season.
Anyone over the age of 12 can be vaccinated at health centers across the country. Also, the Ministry of Health appeals to all vaccinated citizens to go to the health centers to be vaccinated with the booster dose.
Anti-COVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and largely avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
