Indian TV actress Chethana Raj has lost her life during a fat removal operation.
The tragic 21-year-old suffered a heart attack after surgery.
The girl was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru on Monday after plastic surgery, but doctors said she suffered a heart attack and her lungs filled with water.
Chethana had been transferred from the cosmetic hospital but when she arrived at Kaaade Hospital she had lost consciousness and had no pulse.
Doctors had tried to resuscitate the actress as she performed artificial respiration for 45 minutes but without success.
Chethana’s parents are already seeking legal advice to act after her sudden death.
The girl is believed to have not told her she would perform the procedure and the acceptance document was signed by her friend.
Her father, Govinda Raj, said the daughter first went to the hospital Monday morning but when they learned of the intervention, the operation had begun.
He added for the local network The Tribune“She was OK and went to the hospital with her friends. “Someone had suggested that she had a lot of fat around the waist and without consulting her family she went to the hospital with her friends.”
Chethana had previously starred in the Indian series Geetha, Doresaani and Olavina Nildana.
