The Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu, who together with the Prime Minister Edi Rama are waiting for 8190 doses of the anti-COVID vaccine, has stated that at the weekend the Technical Committee of Experts will re-evaluate the measures.
“We have had an increase in infections at all ages. It is expected to have an impact after the measures, the impact is not immediate. The committee of experts will come up with a full analysis of the situation and at the end of the week there will be a reassessment of the measures. We do not want to go to other measures.
We are seeing countries like Germany or Italy that after months of closure are now re-evaluating the possibility of careful opening. The national vaccination plan envisages prioritization of the population according to risk levels. Over 6,000 doctors and nurses have been vaccinated. We will continue with other groups of the population “said Manastirliu.
