871 new cases of coronavirus were reported on Wednesday in Kosovo, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health.
The MOH said that, based on 2,376 samples tested over 24 hours, 36.65 percent of those tested tested positive for COVID-19.
Currently, there are 3,263 active cases of coronavirus in Kosovo.
RAdio Europa e Lirë writes that the number of cases of coronavirus in Kosovo has started to increase in the second half of June.
The spring months have been mostly quiet in terms of infections – there have been days with zero cases. The rate of infection is also increasing in other countries of the Balkans and beyond.
