The referendum called by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha for the dismissal of the leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha has ended, but there have been incidents in some polling stations. Some of the members could not find the names in the voter lists.
Voting in some branches of the Democratic Party in some areas took place in unusual conditions, as at the beginning of the process Berisha supporters denounced the change of locks on the doors of the PD headquarters.
DP members in Saranda voted in the streets, as the door of the Democratic Party headquarters was closed.
Incidents were accompanied by voting in Delvina where there were several clashes leading to the blocking of the process, while the same situation was observed in Cakran after the police released election materials in the streets.
Problems have also been encountered in the capital, where Belind Këlliçi has denounced the case in headquarters number 1, where according to him, members of the Democratic Party supporting Basha have poured oil on the stairs to obstruct the process.
Across the country, Democratic Party members voted in 106 polling stations where election materials were distributed.
