Two citizens, accused of helping illegal immigrants in our country, were arrested this Tuesday in Gjirokastra.
2 citizens declared wanted for the criminal offense “Assistance in illegal border crossing” are arrested and detained.
Ll., 40 years old, resident in Laç and PM, 29 years old, resident in Tirana, were declared wanted, because on 18.12.2021, in cooperation with the citizen EM (previously detained), in the place called Ura e Lumit ”, Gjirokastër, were transporting with two vehicles, 9 illegal immigrants, and after the Traffic Police services signaled them to stop, they did not obey their order, but left quickly, abandoning the vehicles.
The materials in charge of the above citizens were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Gjirokastra Court of First Instance, for further action.
