Even being on vacation, you can still see the effects and consequences of the COVID, the rising prices, the war in Ukraine, but it’s definitely very nice to be able to take a couple of vacations here, and just enjoy yourself.
After two years of lockdowns, tourism in Greece is making a strong comeback with officials claiming that tourism revenues in 2022 will reach 90 percent of their pre-pandemic 2019 level, during which the country generated €18 billion in revenue from 33 million visitors.
A recent report, carried out by ForwardKeys for the World Travel Market, reveals that six Greek tourist destinations are in the top ten of travel bookings in Europe for the months of July, August and September this year.
