Actor Gentian Zenelaj has revealed that before entering the world of acting and television, he worked in construction in Shengjin.
In an interview for “Pushime on top” from the coast of Shengjin, the actor told a story from many years ago when he was working in construction, even though he was 17 years old. Genti said that the coast was much different than today, and two policemen once stopped him to check the bag in which he was carrying bread, as they suspected dynamite.
“I have an epic scene. It was the period of 1996 when I was working in construction, I was young. I used to leave my house and go to the coast and go to Kune, where the first villas had started to be built. I had the bread bag and the T-shirt with me. I hear two people calling me, turn back time and see two policemen with guns in hand telling me not to move. I could have been 17-18 years old then, they told me to open the bag, don’t move, the police check. It was the period when people threw dynamite. There were checks that there were not as many people as today. I found the episode very interesting. I still meet those policemen today, I have friends with them. I only had bread, I was going to construction”, said Zenelaj.
