After about a month in the hospital, the famous composer Limos Dizdari has left today the premises of “Shefqet Ndroqi”. The news was confirmed by his daughter Alda, who also posted photos on social networks, while thanking the hospital doctors.
I have no words to thank the doctors and all the staff in the Resuscitation of the hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” (Sanatorium) who as real heroes fought and brought to life our father Limos Dizdari. He had been intubated since May 2 and was soon found to have not only dysfunctional lungs but also a heart that had suffered a general acute heart attack.
It was decided very quickly to put four rings on the heart to make it work, and on May 13, the family members signed the permit for him to undergo intubation surgery. I bought the ticket and prepared for a funeral. But the doctors performed miracles that day, the doctors but also the invincible soul of my father. They successfully completed the operation and he lived. An entire staff was dedicated to him for weeks.
With a lot of love, enthusiasm, they did everything, even filled the resuscitation room with his music, to lift his spirits. One of the most prominent people, who every time she entered the room conveyed light, strength and hope was Dr. Alma Cami, inflexible, never repressed by the delicate moments where the patient’s life was.
She gave strength to him, her staff and all of us.
There were many people I met in those days, from cardiologist Nevila Caushi, Dr. Agroni, doctor Marjeta, head nurse Clementina, nurses Ana, Mira, Eneida, Sameti, physiotherapists Sergio and Bruno and sanitarians Moza and Etleva.
Everyone gave their all, worked day and night and their patient reacted, he started to improve.
And I, prepared for a funeral, saw with my own eyes how my father raised and healed these silent heroes, about whom we do not want to think, because they remind us of difficult moments. But for me they will always remain in my mind and heart!
Thank you endlessly everyone! “One day I will come and play a concert just for you and express my gratitude in the only way I know, with music.” writes the daughter of the famous composer, Alda Dizdari.
