Actor Johnny Depp is conducting a trial with his ex-wife, Amber Heard which has been accompanied by mutual accusations from both parties.
In the testimonies given Depp has told about his relationship with Heard, where he accused him of derogatory comments which ended in debates.
He told how the ex-wife hit him with a bottle of alcohol and consequently sought medical help for a severed finger.
“She threw the big bottle and it fell into her hand and broke everywhere. Then I went downstairs and realized that my fingertip had been cut off. I do not know how the nervous crisis feels. But this is probably the closest I have ever been“, Testified Depp.
Johnny testified that on several occasions he locked himself in the toilet to escape Amber Heard’s violent attacks.
He said parts of the violence were slapping, pushing, throwing the TV remote control or a glass of wine in Heard’s face.
“There were times when I would go and lock myself in the toilet or in a place where she could not reach”said the actor.
“Why did I stay? I stayed I think because my dad stayed (with my mother)… I did not want to fail. I wanted to try to make it work. “I thought maybe I could help.”he further added.
The same allegations of violence have come from Amber who accused Johnny of physically and sexually assaulting her on many occasions but gave no details.
