Tetyana looks lost. She is cleaning her apartment after a rocket blast shattered windows in an apartment block in a Kiev neighborhood.
Nothing is left to protect her house as the balcony is turned into ruins.
She told the BBC she woke up to the air strike alert around 4am and saw rockets flying in the sky.
“I walked out the window and then boom! The broken glass hit me in the back“, She says. “I was shocked! ”
She lives in one of three high-rise buildings damaged by a shell in Kiev this morning. Five people were killed in one of them.
Now Tetyana plans to temporarily leave the apartment where she has lived for 33 years.
“I only saw the war in movies, I only remembered it on TV.” she adds. “Now I am experiencing it myself. “
