A 62-year-old Albanian woman was found dead inside an apartment in the “Gizi” neighborhood of Athens.
According to Greek police, the victim has wounds and signs of violence. The door to the apartment was closed and there were no signs of breakage.
The Albanian neighbor says that the woman was a very good man and that he was surprised by the event.
“I am from Korça, I knew Miranda and Dhimitr, I helped them with food and with these, a very angry woman, I do not know what to say, I was left speechless”he said.
Greek authorities suspect that the crime was committed by the victim’s husband, who is not currently in the apartment.
The causes of the crime are still unknown.
The victim has been identified as Miranda and is from Fieri. It is learned that the suspected perpetrator was from Bilisht in Korça and had problems with alcohol.
Quarrels between the couple were frequent recently, while living without a residence permit in Greece.
